And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus, where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.

Then David and all Israel marched to Jerusalem, that is, Jebus, where the Jebusites lived.
David and all Isra’el went to Yerushalayim, also known as Y’vus; and the Y’vusi, the inhabitants of that region, were there.
Jerusalem was called Jebus at the time, and David led Israel's army to attack the town.
And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.

David and all the Israelites went to the city of Jerusalem. Jerusalem was called Jebus at that time. The people living in that city were named Jebusites. They

¶ And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem: which is Jebus, where were the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land.

King David and all the Israelites went and attacked the city of Jerusalem. It was then known as Jebus, and the Jebusites, the original inhabitants of the land, were still living there.

Then David and the leaders went to Jerusalem (or Jebus, as it used to be called) where the Jebusites—the original inhabitants of the land—lived.

The citizens of Jebus told David, “No trespassing—you can’t come here.” David came on anyway and captured the fortress of Zion, the City of David. David had said, “The first person to kill a Jebusite will be commander-in-chief.” Joab son of Zeruiah was the first; and he became the chief.
Now David and all Israel with him went to Jerusalem (that is, Jebus, since the Jebusites still dwelt there in the land).

Then David and his subjects traveled from Hebron to Jebus, which is now known as Jerusalem, where the Jebusites lived.
David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (also called Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.
Therefore David went, and all Israel, into Jerusalem; this Jerusalem is Jebus, where Jebusites, inhabiters of the land, were. (And so David, and all Israel, went to Jerusalem; this Jerusalem is Jebus, where the Jebusites, who inhabited the land, were.)
